Information will be updated as it is approved by the school office. Registration is handled individually by each of the programs offering classes each semester – the PTA can not assist with registration or payments.
The Woodstock PTA and ShuRen offer a limited number of partial scholarships to afterschool programs each quarter. Please check in with individual programs for scholarships first. Some scholarships can be requested through the school counselor, Ponny Kosmas.

Chess Wizards
Say yes to chess! Join Chess Wizards for an interactive, scholastic program where kids will collaborate, gain confidence, improve chess skills, meet new friends, and work out their most powerful muscle – their brains! Appropriate for beginner to intermediate chess players, our program includes instruction in tactics and strategy, as well as individual game play.

Chinese Wushu
Wushu – which is sometimes called Guoshu, Gongfu, or Kung Fu in the West – is the overall term for all self-defense sports in China. Wushu has evolved to become a national sport in the People’s Republic of China, with standardized forms, judging criteria and annual competitions. Most of the modern competition forms were derived from parent (or classic) styles and forms.

Circus Cascadia
Have you ever wanted to join the circus? Come learn circus skills for all levels and ages! Our Class is designed to give kids both challenges and success in mastering new skills and gaining confidence. This workshop includes Clown skills, stilt walking, juggling, unicycling, tight rope, Diabolo and much more. At the conclusion of the session the students will perform their own Circus show!

Imagine This PDX Art Class

Visual Storytelling: Make Your Own Animation
Students will learn about the process of making an animation through both group and individual exercises.
